Formed in 1973,
Piscataqua Obedience Club, Inc. is dedicated to high-quality, positive training and the well-being of companion dogs in the southern
Maine and New Hampshire Seacoast Area. Our classes are reasonably priced to help us meet our goal of improving dog-owner relationships and educating the public about responsible dog ownership. Our certified instructors will help you design a training program that works for your and your dog. POC members participate in all levels of canine obedience, tracking,
flyball, agility, RallyO, and service dog activities, and donate time
and resources to local humane societies and rescue leagues. We offer obedience
classes to the public two evenings a week in Kittery and York, Maine
and Dover, New Hampshire, at all levels for mixed-breed and purebred dogs.
In our classes we often work with dogs who have been adopted from local
animal shelters.
